Our Philosophy:

Welcome to Wildflower Preschool & Child Care LLC, Where we model inclusive practices, recognizing that each child comes to us with varying abilities and unique strengths. We partner with community resources to work in collaboration with parents and community partners to support children’s educational needs. We use nationally recognized curriculum, that provides learning through hands on experiences with a focus on whole child educational development. Through observation, assessment, planning and family partnership we are able to individualize educational experiences for each child in our program. We embed social and emotional curriculum into our classrooms, fostering skills sets around building positive healthy relationships, developing problem solving skills and learning and identifying emotional awareness and empathy. Our goal is to prepare children for success inside the classroom and beyond the classroom. We align with the ethical and educational guidelines set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. We partner with families to keep them informed of their child’s development and included in our program through conferences, screenings, newsletters, surveys, and family activities. We value continuing education and professional development and continually seek out opportunities to increase our knowledge and improve our program to better serve the children and families in our community.
